Send one-way alert messages
If you're using the on-premise version (not logging in via app.murphysolution.com), you might be on an older version of this feature. Scroll down for help and support.
- Start at the main page
- Click ALERT
- Click One-way

Choose communication channels - if they should get an email, SMS, notification to the Murphy mobile app, or all the alternatives.
- Write a title
- Write your message

Choose recipients - Individual recipients and/ or contact groups
- The symbols, when viewing the recipients list, mean the following:
- Text symbol = the recipient has a mobile number
- @ = The recipient has an e-mail address
- Phone = the recipient has downloaded the Murphy mobile app and logged in at least one time on the mobile app
- The symbols, when viewing the recipients list, mean the following:

Confirmation - Makus sure everything is correct and than press Proceed to Send
- Click Send
- Now you see the "Sent alert"-page where you can click on all the sent messages.
Remember that this is a one-way communication. If you want your recipients to be able to answer, use a two-way alert.

- Bell = the recipient has downloaded the Murphy mobile app and logged in at least one time on the mobile app

- The confirm pup-up will appear, double check your message
- Click Send
- Now you see the "Sent alert"-page where you can click on all the sent messages.
Remember that this is a one-way communication. If you want your recipients to be able to answer - use two-way alert.
