When are private phone numbers useful?

Private phone numbers are useful when your organization wants to make sure there are more ways to reach the right people.

This can be especially relevant for users or contacts who may need to be reached during incidents, crises, on-call situations, or other events where quick communication is important.

Adding a private phone number does not mean that it will automatically be used in every call-out.
The organization still decides when private numbers should be used.
