Create a operation template
Create structure before the crisis hits!
Operation templates can only be created and deleted by you, the platform's administrator. The templates are a tool for support when crisis management is in the start-up phase. By having a template, the command center will be prepared for the operation, thus supporting the crisis management.
A situation report template can be created in two different ways.
It all depends on what you feel most comfortable with when creating the template for the first time.
Either directly in the Crisis Management module or via Create templates.
Below, we’ll start by showing how to do this in the Crisis Management module, and then we’ll introduce Create templates and explain how it works.
Create a template directly in the Crisis Management module
- Start by creating a new operation
-
Fill out the command center with the information you want to be reproduced later when you open the template.

- Only the items present in the command center and involved actors will be included in the template.

- When you're happy with how the command center looks, it's time to create the operation! Click on the three dots next to the operation's name and select Create Template.

- Give the template a name, and then click save.

- Now, you can find your new template when you create a new operation.
Create a template via Create templates

-
Create a new dashboard template

- Give the situation report template a name, fill in the remaining fields based on your organisation’s needs, and then save the template.
- Go to the Crisis Management module and try opening the template.
- Did it turn out as you expected?
- Is anything missing?
- Go back to Create templates and make adjustments until you’re happy with it.
