Attributes
Discover how to implement flexible recipient filtering in the Alert Module to optimize notification management.
Attributes allow you to dynamically filter recipients when sending Alerts — without relying solely on predefined contact groups.
Where to find it
Go to Show More → Attributes.
Please note: Only administrators are authorised to modify attributes.
How it works
- Create a New Attribute (e.g., “Office”).
- Add Options within that attribute (e.g., Stockholm, London, Berlin).
Assign Attributes
Attributes can be assigned to:
- Users (User Admin → three dots → Edit Roles
(Label will soon be updated to either “Update Roles” or “Edit Roles” depending on final decision.)) - Contacts (by editing the contact)
When sending an Alert
You can filter recipients based on Attributes and effectively create recipient segments “on the fly”.
This provides much greater flexibility when targeting specific roles, offices, or groups.
For larger organisations:
- Attributes can be assigned automatically via AD sync
- It is also possible to sync from HR systems
